Kim Jong Un files U.N. complaint over Hollywood comedy "The Interview". The film which is due October 10 this year stars Seth Rogen and James Franco as a talk show host and his producer. They are heading to North Korea and plotting to kill the country's leader.

In a letter sent by North Korea's Ambassador for the United Nations, Ja Song Nam, to the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the Asian country, without mentioning the title of the film, expresses displeasure over a plot that "involves insulting and assassinating the supreme leadership."

"To allow the production and distribution of such a film on the assassination of an incumbent head of a sovereign state should be regarded as the most undisguised sponsoring of terrorism as well as an act of war," Ja said in a statement.

"The United States authorities should take immediate and appropriate actions to ban the production and distribution of the aforementioned film; otherwise, it will be fully responsible for encouraging and sponsoring terrorism," he added.
