Another "Godzilla" sneak peek makes its way out online to build anticipation for the summer release of the movie. Despite having been teased in a bunch of promo videos, the latest international trailer isn't less interesting as it reveals a closer look at the titular monster as well as the kaiju opponents, including a thin-legged creature and a flying monster.
In one scene, Ken Watanabe's Dr. Ichiro Serizawa laments, "The arrogance of men is thinking nature is in their control and not the other way around." He then seemingly suggests how to kill the monsters as saying, "Let them fight."
In this latest take on Toho's iconic Godzilla, the world's most famous monster is pitted against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
Gareth Edwards takes the helming duty, with Bryan Cranston, Aaron Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins and David Strathairn joining the cast. The sci-fi, action movie is set to be unleashed in theaters across the nation on May 16.
