A new track by Pharrell Williams has emerged online. Titled "Here", the slow-tempo ballad is another contribution that the Grammy Award-winning producer has made for the soundtrack of upcoming film "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".
"Here" was written and produced by Pharrell himself. It features the 41-year-old star singing about reuniting with a girl who used to be the love of his life. "Isn't it clear/ We're here again/ Our thing right where we left it/ A delusion is a flight, first class to nowhere/ While a dream is a blueprint, a plane to go there," he sings.
Previously, Pharrell teamed up with Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar and Hans Zimmer for another "Spider-Man 2" track called "It's on Again". The song features vocals from Keys and Lamar while Pharrell, who produced it, helmed the score alongside Zimmer, Mike Einziger of Incubus, Johnny Marr and others.
Both "Here" and "It's on Again" will be included in the film's soundtrack album that's due out on April 22.
