AceShowbiz - In order to get fans excited of the third season premiere, "House of Lies" is going to show off the comedic skills of its cast. "House of Lies Live" is an improv taped at Los Angeles' Upright Citizens Brigade Theater earlier this month in front of live studio audience.
Improv veterans Ben Schwartz and Josh Lawson will be joined by the lead stars Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell as well as season three guest stars Lauren Lapkus, Ryan Gaul and Eugene Cordero. A preview of the special unscripted longform format has been released, showing Cheadle as a pregnant man by the suggestion of an audience.
"House of Lies Live" will be available online December 30 on Showtime.com, the network's YouTube channel and the official "House of Lies" Facebook page. First Showtime original production to premiere online, the improv will also be available on Showtime preview applications for the iPhone, iPod Touch, Android smartphones, and tablets such as the Nook and Kindle Fire in addition to iTunes free podcast download.
The third season of the drama comedy will be premiered on January 12 at 10 P.M. ET/PT. Fred Armisen and Balthazar Getty have each been tapped to guest star in one episode. Armisen plays Vincent, a neurotic owner of a company that makes a meal-replacement product, while Getty is a wealthy hedge fund owner who knows Marissa (guest star Eliza Coupe).
