A representative confirms that the judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance' has checked into a 'rehabilitation center,' but it's unclear what issue he's dealing with.

AceShowbiz - Adam Shankman has followed in the footsteps of his "Hairspray" actor Zac Efron to enter rehab. On Monday, December 9, a representative for the director, producer, dancer, actor, and choreographer confirmed that he's "currently seeking treatment in a rehabilitation center."

"His friends and family support him and wish him well on his journey to recovery," the rep added, without mentioning reasons behind his decision to check into rehab. Just a day before, Shankman was still seen attending the Trevor Live L.A. event in Hollywood. He appeared to be in good spirit as posing with Adam Lambert and "Glee" stars Darren Criss and Jane Lynch in a photo he posted on Instagram.

Earlier this year, Efron who starred in Shankman-directed musical comedy "Hairspray" quietly sought help for alleged cocaine addiction. He reportedly went to rehab to cure his addiction in March. After completing the treatment, he allegedly had relapse during the filming of "Neighbors" and had another rehab stint after finishing the production for the movie.
