AceShowbiz - Lea Michele's "Cannonball" has finally arrived in full. The song immediately hit the web after the "Glee" star's debut album, "Louder", was made available for pre-order. Penned by Sia Furler, Michele's new song is a pure pop jam with a clappy beat and piano-driven melody.
In the empowering track, she sings about leaving the past for a new beginning. "Break down/ Break down/ Break down/ I was scared to death, I was losing my mind," she sings before declaring in the chorus, "And now I will start living/ Today, today, today/ I close the door/ I got this new beginning/ And I will fly/ I'll fly like a cannonball."
Before the single arrived, Michele asked her fans to keep tweeting "#LeaMicheleLouder" to unlock the cover art of her anticipated album. "10,000 tweets will reveal the cover and a surprise!" she tweeted on Monday, December 9.
It didn't take too long. "Here it is! Check out the cover of my album #LOUDER! Thanks to all of you for tweeting & unlocking it!!" she captioned a close-up picture of her looking stunning in a black outfit while her hair is down and looks wet.
"Louder" is scheduled to hit the stores in early next year.
