The members of One Direction were the special musical guests in Saturday, December 7 episode of "Saturday Night Live". Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Harry Styles performed two of their songs when hitting the stage of the show.
For their first appearance, the British/Irish boyband performed their latest single "Story of My Life". Dressed in black suit, the boys sang a sweet and touching rendition of the ballad. They later returned to the stage and excited fans with a live rendition of new track "Through the Dark".
Both "Story of My Life" and "Through the Dark" were lifted from the group's newest studio album, "Midnight Memories". Released last month, the record is currently topping Billboard 200 after selling 546,000 copies in its first week.
During that night's episode of "Saturday Night Live", One Direction also made an appearance as Nine Direction with host Paul Rudd. They sang an a capella rendition of "Afternoon Delight" with the cast of "Anchorman: The Legend Continues".
