Holiday comes early on "Glee". Next week, the show will return with a Christmas episode which also serves as its midseason finale. A preview for the said outing has landed online, showing Mr. Schue and the New Directions kids having fun decorating the choir room. In another scene, the glee club members audition for roles in McKinley's living Nativity Scene, with Becky standing in for the face of Baby Jesus.

In New York, Rachel, Kurt and Santana work as Santa's elves at a mall. It appears that an old man who channels Santa Claus isn't that nice as he scolds Kurt for looking directly at him. Santana later makes her friends worried when she doesn't show up for work.

"Previously Unaired Christmas" will air Thursday, December 5 at 9/8c on FOX. Sue Sylvester will introduce the episode as a Christmas special that FOX did not allow to air from last year. The cast will sing "Here Comes Santa Claus", "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", "Mary's Little Boy Child", "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)", "Love Child" and "Away in a Manger" in the said outing.

The show will go on a hiatus after the Christmas episode and return in February.
