Lea Michele has taken to Twitter to announce that her debut single is set to be called "Cannonball". "So excited for everyone to hear my first single Cannonball, off my debut album Louder!" she told her 4 million followers on Wednesday, November 27.

In another post, the 27-year-old starlet said that her upcoming song was written by "the amazing" Australian singer/songwriter Sia Furler. The single will be available on December 10, the same day fans can pre-order her anticipated album.

Michele has filmed the music video for her single. "SO EXCITED SHOOTING MY VERY FIRST MUSIC VIDEO TODAY FOR THE FIRST ALBUM SINGLE!" she tweeted earlier this month. She also posted several photos taken from the set.

The Rachel Berry of FOX's series "Glee" plans to release her first studio effort in early 2014. In an interview with Elle for the magazine's December issue, she revealed that her album would be featuring a song that she recorded for her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

The song is titled "If You Say So", which were the last things Monteith said to her before he died back in July. Michele said that she initially had no plan to include the song in her album. "The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?' I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't,' " she said of adding the song to the tracklist at the last minute.
