LeAnn Rimes got into another Twitter war and she still hasn't quit the microblogging site. This time, the 31-year-old country star got into an argument with ex-husband Dean Sheremet over her comment on gay ex-husband.

It all began when Rimes' follower Da Giggle Factory tweeted, "Remember the good old days when @leannrimes was just a chubby country bumpkin married to a gay dude?" With the post came a twitpic of younger Rimes who had fuller figure.

Rimes replied, "@DaGiggleFactory hahahaha I'm gonna choose to laugh at this." Sheremet did not take the response well, writing, "Laugh away-Who's the bully now?" He added, "I don't do twitter wars, but I do hate ignorance. Being gay isn't offensive, not standing up for the truth is. @NOH*Campaign @Leannrimes."

A Twitter follower named Michelle took a defense on Rimes, writing, "@Deansheremet @NOH8Campaign @leannrimes who said it was offensive? Did you see the pic attached to the tweet? Nothing to do w dean." The singer was grateful of the back up. She wrote, "Exactly dear lord. I was laughing at myself." She went on, "@shellipep @Deansheremet @NOH8Campaign no he's not gay and there's nothing wrong it. I have always & will always support the community."

Rimes was married to Sheremet when she filmed "Northern Lights" and met Eddie Cibrian. She got involved in an affair with the co-star and went on divorcing Sheremet before marrying Cibrian.
