'Muppets Most Wanted' Trailer: Kermit Mistakenly Lands in Jail
Movie

Kermit the frog meets his not-so-good dead ringer and suffers from a case of mistaken identity while touring Europe with the Muppets gang.

The first trailer for "Muppets Most Wanted" has landed online, showing a case of mistaken identity. As the Muppets go on a global tour after their successful comeback in the previous film, Kermit gets arrested and sent to jail for something he didn't do.

Turns out, Kermit bears an uncanny resemblance to world's most wanted criminal, Constantine. While the fans' favorite frog is in prison, his dead ringer replaces his place in the Muppets gang. They notice there's something off with him but can't put their finger on it.

In the next film, the Muppets will visit Europe's most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. However, mayhem follows them overseas as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine and his dastardly sidekick Dominic.

Ricky Gervais plays Dominic. Ty Burrell and Tina Fey also have roles in the upcoming sequel to 2011's "The Muppets". Celebrity cameos include P. Diddy, Lady GaGa, Tom Hiddleston, Salma Hayek and Usher. It's due in the U.S. on March 21, 2014.
