Another star is added to "Fifty Shades of Grey" cast ensemble. Luke Grimes, who plays Jessica's long-haired lover Wes on "True Blood", is billed to play Christian Grey's brother Elliot in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of E.L. James' sexy book of the same title.

He joins "Once Upon a Time" actor Jamie Dornan cast as the titular character who embarks on a kinky relationship with college student Anastasia Steele played by "Need for Speed" star Dakota Johnson. "RoboCop" actress Jennifer Ehle is tapped to portray Anastasia's mother.

Elliot, based on the story in the book, will end up romancing Anastasia's best friend Kate. Rumor has it, Juno Temple was offered the part but she turned it down. Producers are also still searching for an actor to play Christian's bodyguard, a role that Frank Grillo allegedly passed on.

Production is expected to kick off this coming November for a planned August 1, 2014 release. Sam Taylor-Johnson serves as a director.

Before landing a role on the HBO vampire series, Grimes, 29, appeared on ABC's drama "Brothers & Sisters". On the big screen, he has appeared in "Taken 2" and played a lead in "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane", which finally gets a limited release on October 11 years after first premiered at 2006 Toronto International Film Festival.
