'Thor: The Dark World' New Clip: The God of Thunders Arrives in Battlefield
Movie

All it takes is one strike from Thor's mighty hammer to take down an entire army of Dark Elves, as seen in the fresh clip for the upcoming sequel.

A brand new clip for "Thor: The Dark World" is released to usher the upcoming premiere on November 8. While the previous clip showed Malekith awaken from his slumber, this new one features the titular God of Thunder lending his fellow Asgardians a helping hand in the battle.

The video opens with Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and Volstagg (Ray Stevenson) fending off a large crowd of enemies in the battlefield. And Thor (Chris Hemsworth) arrives just in time, making a grand entrance in his typical fashion with the help from his trusty hammer Mjolnir.

In the next movie, the God of Thunder battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of 2011's "Thor" and 2012's "The Avengers", he fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.

To defeat an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor sets upon his most dangerous and personal journey yet, forced into an alliance with the treacherous Loki to save not only his people and those he loves but also the universe itself.

Tom Hiddleston and Natalie Portman reprise their roles as Loki and Jane Foster respectively. Alan Taylor takes over the rein from Kenneth Branagh who directed the first film.
