Pictures of pregnant Kim Kardashian which were taken a month before she gave birth to baby North West are featured in the upcoming issue of Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book. The 32-year-old TV personality opens her mouth a bit to flash gold grill as she graces the cover.
A photo in the fall/winter edition shows her baring her baby bump in a bandeau bra, a jacket and unbuttoned pants. Another picture shows the then-pregnant Kim wearing white clothing with jam smeared around her lips. Another Karl Lagerfeld snap features Kim in a diamond mask. Carine credits the photos' art director Riccardo Tisci for his idea of the photo shoot.
It is "precious moment of Kim's pregnancy that people haven't seen. Pregnancy is something that I always love. It's about hope and the future and a new baby," the former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief says of the images, as quoted by Women's Wear Daily. She adds, "This is not something for a gossip magazine that goes into the trash. This is a magazine that is a collector's item."
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is excited about the release of the pictures. "OMG the COVER of Carine Roitfeld's crfashionbook #issue3!!! Shot by @karllagerfeld! Thank you...," she tweeted. The CR Fashion Book will be available in stands on September 12.
