The black-and-white music video mixes the band's performance footage with flashes of medieval imagery.

AceShowbiz - Avenged Sevenfold has released a music video for "Hail to the King". Directed by Syndrome, the black-and-white video sees M. Shadows and his bandmates performing the powerful track. The video also gives flashes of medieval imagery, such as a sword being drawn from its sheath, a monk waving a lamp and a knight on a horse.

"Hail to the King" is the title track taken from Avenged Sevenfold's sixth studio album of the same name. Produced by Mike Elizondo, the album will follow up the band's 2010 release, "Nightmare", which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart.

Marking the band's first album without any contributions from late drummer James Owen Sullivan a.k.a. The Rev, "Hail to the King" is expected to hit stores on August 27 via Warner Bros Records. The band will play a free show on August 26 at the Hollywood Palladium to celebrate its release.

Avenged Sevenfold also recently announced the dates for their Hail to the King tour, a headlining US arena tour in October and the band's first full scale American tour since 2011. Deftones and Ghost B.C. are set to provide support.
