Beyonce Knowles has decided to chop off her long hair. She now sports short pixie haircut, ditching her signature long wavy hair. The "If I Were a Boy" singer shows off her new haircut in three Instagram pictures.

In a black-and-white photo, the mother of one is seen touching the back of her head, while another photo shows similar pose from different angle. Another image gives close-up look at her face and the new hair-do. All of the pictures were taken in front of a big mirror, which is usually placed in dressing room.

Fans gave various reactions concerning her new look. A shocked fan wrote, "BEY, AND YOU HAIR? WHERE, WHERE,WHEEEEREEEE????? NO PLZ, NO!" while another fan praised the new style, "She looks good in everyway." Another devotee commented, "Hair looks amazing."

Beyonce recently got a problem because of her long locks. In late July, her long hair was stuck in an electric fan as she performed "Halo" onstage in Montreal. Members of her crew rushed to help when the disaster struck, while the mother of one kept singing without missing a beat.

Two days ago, the singer finished three shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. She is scheduled to perform in the U.K. later this month. The South America leg of her tour will start in September.
