AceShowbiz - 2 Chainz once again has to deal with cops. Two days after being questioned by authorities as a victim of robbery, the rapper now has to be cuffed and taken away as a drug offender. He was busted for possession of marijuana at LAX.
The Playaz Circle MC was reportedly in possession of Promethazine, one of the main ingredients in sizzurp. Police also found weed, less than an ounce, on the 35-year-old rapper whose real name is Tauheed Epps.
According to TMZ, 2 Chainz was arrested Tuesday, June 11 in Terminal 5 of the Los Angeles International Airport before boarding a flight out of El Lay. The formerly-known Tity Boi has been booked on felony narcotics possession.
Sunday afternoon before he was set to perform at a local radio station's Summer Jam concert at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, the rhymer was robbed at gunpoint in downtown San Francisco. His wallet and cellphone were taken, but no one was injured.
He was with five members of his entourage walking down the 800 block of Howard Street when the incident happened. They were allegedly approached by three men, including one holding a handgun. One shot was fired and the thieves took off in a gray sedan.
Despite police confirmation, 2 Chainz seemed to deny that the victim was him. He tweeted, "Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken. Rings, chains, watch , money etc. 2 answer that question."
"Rule#2 if a rapper gets shot he usually go to hospital or dies," he added. "Rule# 3 we definitely got geeked up in San Fran , best smoke in the world. 2 blessed 2 stress."
