A first look at another supervillain Spidey will encounter in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has been revealed by director Marc Webb. Uploaded on his Twitter account, the photo features Paul Giamatti as barbwire-tattooed Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich a.k.a. The Rhino, furiously speeding his truck.

The Golden Globe-winning actor's actions with leading star Andrew Garfield are also captured in the film's new set photos. Giamatti is seen donning a black tracksuit for his role of the thug from a Soviet-era bloc country, while Garfield is spotted wearing his Spidey full costume on the filming set in Brooklyn.

Besides The Rhino, Spidey has to face Max Dillon a.k.a. Electro, played by all-around star Jamie Foxx. Peter Parker's old friend Harry Osborn will also make an appearance in the film with "Metallica Through the Never" actor Dane DeHaan as the depicter.

The Marvel flick still follows Peter Parker busy taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away - but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Also starring Emma Stone as Parker's love interest Gwen Stacy, the pic is scheduled to open in the United States on May 2, 2014.
