Sofia Vergara on Having Kids With Fiance Nick Loeb: 'I Don't Want to Wait Forever'

The 'Modern Family' star talks about plans to have a child with Loeb via surrogate, but she says she doesn't want it now because she's 'working like an animal.'

AceShowbiz - Although she doesn't seem to have a plan for her wedding now, Sofia Vergara reveals that she wants to have a kid with her fiance, Nick Loeb. In the June issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, the "Modern Family" star opens up about her personal life and her plans of having a family with Loeb.

"I froze my eggs. I had to go to my doctor's office a hundred million times to do injections," the 40-year-old actress says of the rumor that suggests she will have a baby via surrogate. "The [rumor] probably came from that. My doctor had told me 'We have a small window.' I said, 'That's so rude!' "

Vergara, who already has a 21-year-old son from her previous marriage, says that having a baby in a normal way won't be possible. "I had thyroid cancer and lots of radiation," she explains. "I don't want to wait forever, but not yet, because I'm working like an animal."

The Colombian beauty got engaged to Loeb on her birthday last December, but she apparently doesn't want a wedding anytime soon. "He was already married with a big wedding and I was already married with a big wedding," she says. "So we're going to something but not right now."

Vergara also shares about how she can't be a sex symbol all the time. "No one can be a sex kitten every day, and anyone who tells you that is lying," she tells the magazine. "But I do wear negligees and Japanese silk robes."

She continues, "For a long time, I lived alone with my son and only saw my boyfriends in a hotel. So at home, I slept in old tee shirts. I realized when I moved in with Nick that I couldn't do that. Now, I only keep nice pajamas around, because whatever is there, I'm going to wear."

Of what she will do in the next 5 years, she says, "I've never had a plan for anything. I know I'm not going to get any more shows like 'Modern Family'. If it ends in five years, it would be great to do movies and focus on things like my Kmart line. Maybe have a kid. But I am going to be working my whole life. I love making money. I really love it!"
