While Amanda Bynes gets slammed so many times for her bizarre behavior, Nikki Blonsky thinks her former "Hairspray" co-star doesn't deserve it. In an interview with Life & Style magazine, the 24-year-old actress shows that she definitely sides with the "Easy A" star.

Despite the reports that say Amanda has cut ties with her family and friends, Nikki claims that she speaks to her "very frequently." She tells the magazine, "She's the same Amanda I met working on 'Hairspray.' She's happy. I don't think that's a breakdown, but a breakthrough. I back Amanda 100 percent."

Nikki also doesn't think that anyone should worry about Amanda, while media repeatedly suggests that the 27-year-old actress needs help immediately. "I don't think there is any concern on anybody's part," Nikki continues. "She is just living her life and doing what she wants to do and I totally support that for her."

Addressing Amanda's DUI arrest, twitter rant, and her antic make-over, "The English Teacher" star has her own opinion. She says, "I think it was more like an episode of events that maybe people are finding her different for, because she has been so cookie-cutter and so perfect over the years."

In recent months, Amanda has constantly made numerous headlines, including getting kicked out of her NYC apartment, appearing with a cheek pierce, slamming news outlets, and posting a series of odd tweets and photos.
