AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato showed off new hair style to her 12 million Twitter followers on Tuesday, March 12. The self-taken photo shows her wearing a denim jacket and sporting shorter hair. The caption of the photo read, "New hair!!!"
The 20-year-old singer looks adorable and fresh in her new hairdo. She now has shoulder-length hair completed with side-swept bangs which adorns her face. The new style garnered reactions from her fans. A fan commented, "Oh my God you look so cute." Another wrote, "You're so perfect. I love your new hair :)."
Lovato told Allure in an interview in August 2012 that she dreamed of having colorful hair. "I used to always want to dye my hair blue and purple and pink when I was younger. But I was busy trying to make it in the industry as an actress, and it was hard to go in for auditions with blue hair," Lovato said.
She later found a solution for her problem. "When I heard of the dip-dye trend, I loved it, and I felt like I could finally dye my hair blue. You know you've made it when you can dye your hair blue," Lovato said. She talked about changing hair to eight different colors in a recent interview with The New York Times, "That was just like, 'What can I do next? I'm bored.' "
Lovato said that the secret of her healthy silky hair was hair mask. "I really love deep conditioning my hair. I use hair mask and leave it on as long as I can before I need to wash my hair. I think that's the best thing girls can do for their hair because washing it a lot makes your scalp really dry," Lovato said.
