Opening up for the first time about her nude photos which leaked online in 2007, the former Disney star tells Paper magazine, 'That was just a really s**tty situation that sucked.'

AceShowbiz - Vanessa Hudgens had an interview with Paper magazine and for the first time she spoke out about her nude photos which were leaked online in 2007. "That was just a really s**tty situation that sucked," she told the magazine. "That was by far the worst moment of my career."
Vanessa admitted the photo scandal had made a change in her life. It might have helped the actress leave her squeaky-clean image behind, and helped her achieve the edgier roles she'd wanted. "It's always been hard for actors to cross that bridge, but honestly, you have to hold out and do what you think is right for yourself," she said about letting go of her Disney star image.
"Spring Breakers" may be one of the results of the image transition. In the film, she stars with pals Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson. Vanessa plays a rebellious college student who takes bong rips, sniffs cocaine and even participates in a three-way. "Harmony (Korine, director) took a really big jump in hiring me and Selena and Ashley," Vanessa said.
Vanessa keeps taking risky roles, as she said she would play a drug-addict prostitute in "The Frozen Ground". "Ever since I was young, I wanted to play really heavy and intense roles and really push myself in a dramatic direction," she explained. "So I was like, 'A prostitute! I can play a prostitute! This is going to be exciting.' "
