Katie Holmes and Suri didn't let rain dampen their spirits to enjoy a lunch date together. The mother/daughter duo stepped out holding an umbrella each to prevent them from getting wet on their outing to grab a bite at French bistro Pastis in New York City.
Katie wore a white shirt, brown jacket, blue jeans and camel-colored boots, while Suri donned a white-and-pink top with a matching skirt, cardigan and boots. The actress held a black umbrella, and her little girl clutched a pink one and had a stuffed animal with her.
Earlier in the day, the 6-year-old girl was caught on camera sharing Katie's umbrella when taking a stroll down the streets in NYC. She held a doll wrapped in a blanket and wore flip-flops instead of boots, while her mother helped her with the stuffed animal.
Earlier this week, Suri reportedly enjoyed a "beach vacation" with her father Tom Cruise. She flew with him to East Hampton, New York in helicopter on the last day of their reunion before she's back with Katie. He spent a whopping $6,200 to charter the chopper, according to Us Weekly.
