Just a day after a clip featuring John Blake and James Gordon hit the web, "The Dark Knight Rises" offers another snippet. This time, the sneak peek focuses on the film's lead protagonist Bruce Wayne, who shares a buddy-time with his trusted armorer Lucius Fox.

The clip was introduced by the Lucius depicter Morgan Freeman during his appearance on Jay Leno's talk show "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". It sees Lucius telling cane-assisted Bruce about how he runs the Wayne Enterprise since the death of Bruce's father. Lucius then introduces Bruce to a new device called "The Bat".

It has been eight years since Bruce a.k.a Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Taking the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

However, everything will change with the arrival of a cunning Catwoman burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

Returning as Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman is Christian Bale. He is joined by Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Caine.

"The Dark Knight Rises" will be released in the U.S. on July 20.
