Movie

Being snapped for the first time on the New York set of 'Can a Song Save Your Life?', Ruffalo opts for a modest look as Steinfeld bares her tummy in a sexy outfit.

AceShowbiz - Mark Ruffalo and Hailee Steinfeld were photographed for the first time on the set of "Can a Song Save Your Life?" on Friday, July 6. The twosome was spotted shooting a scene that required them to run on the streets of New York City.

Steinfeld bared her tone midriff in a pink leopard print crop top that she paired with gray hot pants and suede wedge heels. In contrary to Steinfeld who sported a sexy look, Ruffalo opted for a sweatshirt that he paired with a dark blazer, blue jeans and leather brown shoes. The two were seemingly filming a chase scene as they ran together on Manhattan streets.

During a break, Ruffalo was seen all smiles as he sipped some cool drinks and chatted with his younger female co-star. Steinfeld herself took to her Twitter to share her excitement in working with the Hulk of "The Avengers". She wrote, "Just wrapped on an amazing first day of #CanASongSaveYourLife ! @Mruff221 is a G."

The Oscar-nominated young actress also took some time to comment on her revealing outfit. "Totally diggin my wardrobe for this film! It's a lot different then how you've all seen me...but I think you'll like it too ;) #CASSYL," so she gushed.

"Can a Song Save Your Life?" itself focuses on Keira Knightley's Gretta, who moves to New York with her long-time boyfriend (Adam Levine) to pursue career in music. She later gets heartbroken when he dumps her for the fame and fortune of a big solo contract.

Gretta's world takes a turn for the better when a down-on-his-luck record producer (Ruffalo) stumbles upon her singing in a local bar and is immediately captivated by her raw talent and inspiring authenticity - they may be each other's last chance to turn their lives around.

Directed and written by John Carney, the movie still hasn't got a U.S. release date. Also supporting the film are Catherine Keener, Cee-Lo Green and James Corden.
