Katie Holmes and her adorable daughter Suri were seen out and about in New York City, one day after watching "Brave" together. The mother-daughter duo rocked matching outfits with Katie wearing a checked shirt, a white skirt and a pair of tan boots and her 6-year-old kid choosing a striped vest top with white skirt and a pair of silver ballet flats.
For their late-night movie trip over the weekend, the "Jack and Jill" actress donned a simple button-down with its sleeves rolled up to her elbows, a pair of black shorts and wedges. Suri, meanwhile, wore a white dress and clutched a heavy load of dolls and blanket. Dad Tom Cruise was absent from the two outings since he's still busy filming his new movie "Oblivion".
"Brave" follows the courageous Princess Merida as she confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. The movie wins the race to No. 1 against "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" at the box office by collecting an estimated $66.7 million.
