Johnny Depp and Amber Heard struck a friendship that last beyond "The Rum Diary". The actor, who has just announced his split from singer actress Vanessa Paradis, has bought his former co-star a horse to ride on.
The actors' closeness was reported as Heard was seen as "regular visitor" to the New Mexico set of his new movie "The Lone Ranger". Globe magazine reported that Depp bought Heard, who is a Texas native, a horse so that they could ride together.
Heard has come out as bisexual in old interviews but that doesn't prevent him from being attracted to her. Depp reportedly got so smitten by her that he said about the 26-year-old actress, "When I first saw Amber, it was like seeing an old-time movie star like Lauren Bacall."
Heard herself did not hide her fascination of the 49-year-old actor, saying "He's absolutely amazing, as far as his talent and him as a person."
