Aaron Johnson, 22, and Sam Taylor-Wood, 45, bridged their age gap with marriage. The "Kick-Ass" actor tied the knot with his director fiancee on Thursday, June 21 in a ceremony taking place in Somerset, southwest England, the Associated Press reported.

The groom wore a suit by Tom Ford, while the bride walked down the aisle in a dress by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. The marriage is a first for Johnson and a second for Taylor-Wood. She was previously married to art dealer Jay Jopling who was once romantically linked to Lily Allen.

The pair have been seeing each other since meeting on the set of Taylor-Wood's directorial debut "Nowhere Boy", where he plays John Lennon. Of their age gap, Johnson once said, "I'm an old soul and she's a young soul. We don't see an age gap, we just see each other."

They got engaged in October 2009, and have two children together, Wylda Rae who's turning 2 years old next month and 5-month-old Romy Hero. "I've always been really up for a baby, I knew very early on - we were very much in love, and it was something that I wanted," Johnson gushed.

Taylor-Wood already has two daughters from her marriage to Jopling, 14-year-old Anjelica and 5-year-old Jessie.

The newlyweds will use the surname Taylor-Johnson from now on.
