Since she's not coming from the music industry, the ex-girlfriend of George Clooney is believed to be more appropriate as a host on the Simon Cowell-created show.

AceShowbiz - Stacy Keibler is the latest celebrity linked to "The X Factor (US)" season 2. A source told New York Post that the former professional wrestler, who once dated George Clooney, is in negotiations to join the FOX singing competition as a new host.

"Stacy Keibler is also in talks to join the show, but her lack of experience in the music business may make her more appropriate as a host," the source said before gushing, "She looks fantastic and has bags of charisma."

Another insider, meanwhile, spilled that the talks with Britney Spears, who has been rumored to fill one of the vacant seats on the judging panel, are still ongoing." The so-called source close to the show revealed that the "Womanizer" songstress "is asking for a lot more money than was originally offered. But producers are confident Britney will realize this is a great opportunity for her to reinvent herself and accept their deal."

The second season of "X Factor (US)" will feature two co-hosts, a male and a female, after firing first season's host Steve Jones. Darren Criss was recently reported to have declined an offer to take the gig because his busy schedule prevented him from doing so.

32-year-old model Stacy Keibler, who has appeared in Maxim and Stuff magazines, was a contestant on the second season of "Dancing with the Stars". She has additionally landed a role as a bartender on "How I Met Your Mother".
