Jeremih Denied Lip-Sync and Bottle Attack

The singer insisted that it was technical fault that made him look like he was miming his words and that the bottles were thrown at him for different reason.

R 'n' B singer Jeremih knocked out the rumor that he mimed his lyrics during a concert in South Padre Island on Wednesday, March 14 night. He admitted to being pelted with bottle but the reason was not exactly what online reports have been saying.

The crowd at Jeremih's concert became violent after one guy threw a plastic bottle at him. Another concertgoer later hurled an open container, which was filled with sticky red cocktail, to the singer. Jeremih's bodyguards quickly ascended the stage to deal with the situation while Jeremih left the stage without returning.

In an interview with TMZ, Jeremih insisted that he did not lip-sync during the spring break concert. Instead, he just sang loudly over a recording of his own voice. It was done because the promoters did not provide him with adequate equipment for him to perform.

He was also caught in the situation where his crew was not ready but the crowd had chanted his name, therefore he did what he could do best. Unfortunately, his song was played too loud that it appeared as if he was lip-synching. As for the bottle throwing incident, Jeremih believed the first guy threw it to him after he became jealous of his girlfriend throwing her undies at Jeremih.

The concert was cut short after the incident but the venue did not offer refunds.
