AceShowbiz - Ashanti is a time traveler who seeks refuge from her broken heart in a music video for her newest single "The Woman You Love". The "Foolish" hitmaker is floating into the future while remembering her doomed relationship with a boyfriend and learning that "the only way to heal is to accept and let go of the past."
Featuring Busta Rhymes, the song is a lead single from Ashanti's next studio installment "Braveheart". Its sci-fi inspired music video makes its way out on BET's "106 & Park", and features the former star of "All My Children", Marcus Patrick, playing her former flame.
"We know that music changes and three years is a lot of time," she said of her new project. "I have my own record label, called Written Entertainment, which I am super excited about. Being with the majors it taught me that I need a way bigger percentage than what they were giving me. Everything (now) is digital. I'm cutting my own deal with iTunes. It's about learning the behind the scenes to become a better businesswoman."
