Although tonight's "American Idol" was all about the singers who made it to Top 24, Steven Tyler stole the show with his hilarious stunt. The 63-year-old rocker stripped down to his skivvies to take a swim toward the end of the Thursday, February 23 episode.
Likely inspired by Skylar Laine who said earlier that she would love to jump into the water surrounding the stage, the Aerosmith singer took off his clothes and handed them over to Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson to swim. He even showed his buttocks to the camera, which were censored on the screen, before jumping into the water.
Skylar, who might inspire Steven to swim on "Idol", was one of the singers advancing to the next round of the singing competition. She and the likes of Adam Brock, Shannon Magrane and Jeremy Rosado rounded up the Top 24 who will perform in live shows.
One more guy will join them next week since the judges will bring back either Jermaine Jones, Richie Law, David Leathers or Johnny Keyser to the show.
