Amanda Seyfried May Appear Naked in 'Lovelace'
Movie

A producer at the biopic's production company says that the film is 'going to be very risque' for Seyfried and that it will show 'a lot of nudity'.

AceShowbiz - After Amanda Seyfried was first announced to play iconic porn star Linda Lovelace in "Lovelace", there have been some swirling questions on whether or not she will have a nude scene in the biopic. Weighing in on the speculations, Patrick Muldoon, a producer at the film's production company Eclectic Pictures, hinted that the "In Time" actress might appear naked in the movie.

"It's going to be very risque," Muldoon told E! News. Still, he noted that the upcoming biopic is not going to be some sort of a porn film. He said, "It's a new thing for her, but it's not about nudity. It's profound the performance that she's giving...She's doing such an amazing job. We're about two weeks into filming, and the movie's going to be incredible."

On where the movie will stand, Muldoon explained, "Thematically, it's talking about how abusive the porn industry was to Linda Lovelace." He added, "Yes, there's a lot of nudity, but it's a message movie about respecting women."

This biopic about Linda Lovelace tells the story of her life as an ordinary schoolgirl in Florida who met and married her abusive husband Chuck Traynor, who transformed her into the world's most famous adult film star. Lovelace is famously known for starring in 1972's hardcore porn film "Deep Throat" and she died in a fatal car crash in 2002.

"Lovelace" has begun filming since December 2011 in Los Angeles. In addition to Seyfried, the film is supported by the likes of Peter Sarsgaard, Demi Moore, James Franco, Hank Azaria, Adam Brody, Robert Patrick, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth and Eric Roberts.

Serving behind the lens for the biopic are Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman. Merritt Johnson and Andy Bellin write the script, which is based on Eric Danville's "The Complete Linda Lovelace", a biography published a year before Lovelace died.
