AceShowbiz - Lauren Alaina is set to ring in 2013, country-style. The "American Idol" runner-up has been booked to perform at a country-themed FOX telecast "American Country New Year's Eve Live", TV Line reported.
Featuring also Rodney Atkins, the program will start at 11:00 ET Live, focusing on festivities from the Las Vegas strip and New York City's Times Square. A spokesperson of FOX said that they will announce additional performers and a host.
Alaina's schedule for the new year has been filled to the brim. In January, she will hit the road with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan on Aldean's "My Kinda Party" 2012 Arena Tour. She has also been added to Riverbend 2012 which runs from June 8 to 16.
