AceShowbiz - Weeks after calling it quits with Lewis Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger crosses path with her former boyfriend in a car park. One of the photos taken displays the judge of "The X Factor (US)" giving her ex what seems to be a clingy hug, but the Formula One driver kept his hands in his pockets.
According to The Sun, Nicole and Lewis shared an awkward silence during the encounter outside the shopping mall in Los Angeles. While the 33-year-old beauty focused her attention on her ex's face, the 26-year-old racer stared down at the ground most of the time. When Lewis finally walked away, Nicole kept her eyes on him.
Nicole and Lewis first met at the European Music Awards in Munich, Germany in November 2007. Their recent separation was blamed on their long distance relationship and busy schedules. An insider told PEOPLE, "They both tried to make it work, but their careers kept them apart. So for now it's over. They think this is what's best. They're definitely going to stay friends."
Ex-boyfriend aside, Nicole recently opened up to Shape magazine about her secret to stay healthy. "I'm more accepting of my body and have learned to really embrace it. These days it's all about finding balance," the former lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls said. "My new motto is: Stay active, eat everything in moderation, and stop being so tough on myself."
