This year's list of People's Sexiest Man Alive puts Bradley Cooper on top of the ladder. In winning the title, the "The Hangover" star has beaten Ryan Gosling, Liam Hemsworth, Tim McGraw, Idris Elba and other sexy men in Hollywood.

"I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this [title]," said the actor. "I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying." He added, "[The] first thing I thought [when I was named Sexiest Man Alive] was, 'My mother is going to be so happy'."

People's senior writer Alexis Chiu revealed why they chose Cooper this time, saying "He's more than just a good-looking guy. This guy speaks fluent French, he cooks … he rides a motorcycles, went to Georgetown, loves his mommy a lot and still opens the door for women."

Cooper is the successor of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and Ryan Reynolds.
