Katie Holmes doesn't leave Noel Gallagher with a pleasant memory when they bumped into each other recently. In fact, their coincidental meeting on the way to the "Late Show with David Letterman" in New York City last Thursday, November 10 night ticked off the former Oasis frontman.

The older brother of Liam Gallagher shared his side of the story in a blog post dated Saturday, November 12. "We literally bumped into that top Scientologist Katie Holmes on the way into the studio," so he began writing about the encounter. "We came out of the lift and BANG, there she was."

"Now at this point my mate, and friend of the stars, Scully was doing a bit of filming for my website and managed to capture the moment," he continued. "She did look a bit miffed at the various North-West accents and some vigorous handshaking, but there was no need to send one of her people over to demand the video be deleted!!!! Un-f**kin'-believable."

Despite the incident, Noel noted that he had a nice day since he got to meet Steve Martin and ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons. "Our dressing room was next door to none other than the legendary comedian Steve Martin who, for some reason, wasn't on the show but was there anyway - never did get to the bottom of why," he wrote.

"He only stuck his head round the door to say hello! What an honor!!! We talked banjo and he had a bit of banter with the lads. Top, top man. Funny as fuck!!" the 44-year-old rocker detailed. "As showtime approached we got a little visit from that fella Billy Gibbons from that band ZZ TOP. Another top little dude."
