After revealing seals of the twelve districts in "The Hunger Games", Lionsgate Films unleashes eight fresh character posters for the much awaited film. The majority of these brand new one-sheets unveil first look at several other major characters beside Katniss, Peeta and Gale.

Elizabeth Banks' Effie, Amandla Stenberg' Rue, Alexander Ludwig's Cato, Woody Harrelson's Haymitch and Lenny Kravitz's Cinna are those getting the poster treatment. Each of them is presented in the one-sheet half-shrouded in shadows.

"The Hunger Games" centers on Katniss who replaces her little sister in a fight-to-the death live televised event. Although persevering through hardship is commonplace for her, she must start making choices that weigh survival against humanity and life against love in order to win the games and return home.

Gary Ross tackles the directorial duty, with Billy Ray penning the script. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth play Katniss, Peeta and Gale respectively. The movie, based on Suzzane Collins' best-selling novel, is slated to open in U.S. theaters on March 23, 2012 with its sequel "Catching Fire" being set for November 22, 2013 release.
