The first teaser trailer for A&E's miniseries "Bag of Bones" has landed online, teasing the haunting and chilling story. The video captures a girl in a white dress floating underwater. Her head is snapped by an external force and she warns, "Beware the lake."

Based on Stephen King's novel of the same name, this miniseries revolves around Pierce Brosnan's writer character who retreats to his Maine lakeside home to recover from his wife's death. He is soon involved in a local custody battle between the daughter of an attractive young widow and the child's enormously wealthy grandfather.

At the same time, he also deals with the mysterious ghostly visitations, the ever-escalating nightmares and the realization that his late wife still has something to tell him.

Joining Brosnan in the cast ensemble are Annabeth Gish and Melissa George among others. Mick Garris serves as the director with a script provided by Matt Venne. The miniseries will air over two nights in the fourth quarter of this year, but the exact release date is yet to be announced.
