TV

Judge Nicole Scherzinger said about her performance, 'It's hard for me because I'm a Justin Bieber fan. It's so interesting that I prefer your version to his.'

AceShowbiz - A fourteen year old managed to blow the "The X Factor (US)" judges away with her rendition of Justin Bieber's "Baby". Drew Ryniewicz changed the arrangement of the famous song, making it slower and more soulful.

Nicole Scherzinger who was first to comment said that she is a big fan of Bieber, but she prefers her version to his. To this Simon Cowell agreed and echoed, "So do I". Paula Abdul said her version was commendable, original, daring and bold. "I like you a lot, very unique," she said.

L.A. Reid produced Bieber's debut album where the song was found. At the beginning of Ryniewicz's audition, he warned her, "You don't mind if I'm a little harsh and a little critical because Im so close to that song right?" But after he heard her singing, Reid commented, "You really made it yours, it was soulful and believable and you are special."

The teen girl was not the only favorite that night. Josh Krajcik and Elaine Gibbs also impressed the judges and the audience with their performance. All three of them advance to the next round.
