Ashanti has a brand new song called "Never Too Far Away", and she has released it for fans' listening pleasure. Coming from production hands of L.T. Hutton, the ballad track serves as one of the songs featured in upcoming thriller "Dream House".

Starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, the movie is about a family that unknowingly moves into a home where grisly murders were committed, only to find themselves the killer's next target. It will be released in the United States on September 30.

Ashanti herself is currently preparing a new album. This will be her first studio effort since 2008's "The Declaration". Most recently, she was spotted hitting the studio with some A-list Hip-Hop artists Dr. Dre, The Game and Lil Wayne.
