AceShowbiz - Minka Kelly is tapped to play one of sexy "Charlie's Angels", but she is not afraid of looking bad. The "Friday Night Lights" alumna was recently spotted getting drenched as she dived into the sea in Miami, Florida to shoot an action scene with a male co-star for the remake of the 1970s hit TV series.
Donning a black dress, Kelly was seen wrestling with the man, who possibly plays a bad guy, before they jumped into the chilly water below. After the filming was cut, the 31-year-old star still put a smile on her face although she was wet from head to toe. She later kept herself warm under a blue robe.
The new "Charlie's Angels" is set in Miami while the original version had Los Angeles as the backdrop. Kelly takes the role of street racer Eve French, joined by Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor who play smart, athletic ex-cop Kate and con artist Abby respectively.
The action crime series will premiere Thursday, September 22 at 8 P.M. on ABC.
