The third trailer from "Immortals" has been unleashed. Although it's mostly stuffed with footage from the first and second previously-released trailers, this new sneak peek helps moviegoers understand the plot better since it features voiceover by John Hurt who plays the Old Zeus.

The older and earthly manifestation of Zeus said that a long time ago there was a war in heaven. The victors declared themselves gods while the vanquish were renamed Titans and forever imprisoned deep inside the mountain. King Hyperion and his legions seek to unleash the Titans and wage war upon the world.

Henry Cavill is tapped to tackle the hero, a human by the name Theseus who will lead the battle against Hyperion and their cronies. He assembles a small band of followers and embraces his destiny in a final, desperate battle for the future of humanity. His enemy is portrayed by Mickey Rourke.

Coming from the direction hands of Tarsem Singh, the movie also stars "Slumdog Millionaire" actress Freida Pinto as priestess Phaedra. The movie is co-produced by Gianni Nunnari and Mark Canton ("300") as well as Ryan Kavanaugh ("The Fighter").
