Britta Hanson has reportedly given birth to a baby girl named Kyla Grace Palin less than three months after marrying Sarah's eldest son, Track.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Palin has welcomed the arrival of another grandchild, it has been reported. According to journalist Joe McGinniss, a baby girl named Kyla Grace Palin was born on Sunday night, August 7. The newborn is the first daughter to the former vice presidential candidate's eldest son, Track, and his wife, Britta.

Contradicting the birth date, however, was Radar Online, which claimed that Britta gave birth to Kyla on Saturday, August 6. The gossip site also cited her mother, Elizabeth, as saying, "Kyla Grace is great. She's beautiful. I'm very happy." She added, "I love my daughter and my son-in-law very much."

Back in May, it was announced that Track married his high school sweetheart, Britta, in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. The Palins and Hansons said in a joint statement about the union, "Our families couldn't be happier!" Sarah herself tweeted, "Yes, they did & we couldn't be any more blessed!"

News of the couple expecting their first child together came out in July. Britta's pregnancy was never officially confirmed, but a photo of the 21-year-old being surrounded by baby gifts surfaced via a friend's Facebook page with numerous congratulations.

Kyla is Sarah's second grandchild. The 47-year-old politician has had a grandson named Tripp from eldest daughter Bristol Palin, who got pregnant by former fiance Levi Johnston at 18 years old.
