The landlord of her non-luxury apartment filed a lawsuit which proves that the actress is not using the place as her primary residence.

Oscar winning actress Faye Dunaway reportedly is an inch away from being evicted out of her New York apartment. There's a lawsuit filed by the landlord on Tuesday, August 2 which says that Dunaway has been keeping a rent-stabilized one-bedroom walk-up at the low price of $1,048 a month.

For comparison, the same apartment also located in the Upper East Side is rented out for twice the price. Dunaway did not register the one-bedroom pad as her primary residence, which is required under rent stabilization rules. The landlord provided proof that the actress' voter and car registrations are in California.

A hearing for the case is scheduled to take place in Civil Court on August 11. Should the landlord win the case, Dunaway may have to pay twice the amount she's currently paying. Her son Liam Dunaway O'Neill is also named in the lawsuit.
