Arnold Schwarzenegger's Scandal Adapted as 'Law and Order: SVU' Episode
TV

Coming around this September is an episode where a married royal family member in New York is caught having an affair with someone close to him.

AceShowbiz - Arnold Schwarzenegger's grand affair was bound to inspire a TV episode and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" is the one taking the route. The NBC show is loosely-adapting the former California governor's love-child scandal into an episode which would air early in season 13 this Fall.

According to TV Line, Andrew Raines is a charming, seductive Master of the Universe-esque philanthropist in his 50s who is part of one of New York's royal families. His wife, Kathleen is charming, charismatic and fiercely protective of her family. She's the perfect match for her perfect husband, though unlike him, she is not afraid to get down and dirty when attacked.

Like Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's story, Kathleen finds out that her husband had an affair with someone in their inner circle that produced a love child. In real life, Schwarzenegger slept with their house nanny Mildred Baena and has a son with her whose identity she kept secret for years until Shriver heard whispers and asked her personally.

The crime in the "SVU" episode is sex-related and an insider said that it involves the couple's wealthy and entitled son, Tripp. Although the story seems to be a mirror of Schwarzenegger's life, a show rep said, "SVU is fiction."
