It was only four months ago that Cameron Diaz was seen affectionately feeding Alex Rodriguez with popcorn during Super Bowl. Now it's reported that the couple has split, fueled further by an interview in which the actress again said that marriage and kids are not in her agenda.
Quoting a source, FitPerez.com reported, "They've broken up. [Cameron is] hurt and betrayed, because she tried so hard to please him. She went overboard." Cameron and Alex started dating a year ago and she reportedly moved to Miami to get closer to him and his two kids.
The split news is not yet confirmed this but the actress herself said in a new interview with Cosmopolitan that she won't settle down. "Marriage hasn't been important to me. I believe we are with who we're supposed to be when we're supposed to be with them. If I try and lock something down, I miss out on all the possibilities of what it could be."
And when it comes to children, Cameron said, "You can't have a child just because you think it's something you're supposed to do. It doesn't make sense for everyone it's not an absolute for me... I don't care what other people think. It's my life; I live it the way I want to."
