New shows 'Terra Nova' and 'The X Factor (US)' will premiere this fall, while 'Alcatraz' and 'Bones' spin-off 'The Finder' will debut in midseason.

FOX has announced its primetime schedule for the 2011-2012 television season at an annual Programming Presentation at The New Beacon Theatre in New York on Monday, May 16. Some of the new pickups including "Terra Nova", "The X Factor (US)" and "I Hate My New Daughter" make the fall line-up.
Some other newbies which are drama "Alcatraz", "Bones" spin-off "The Finder" and animated comedy "Napoleon Dynamite" will only premiere in midseason. Meanwhile, "American Idol" will take over the Wednesday and Thursday slots from "The X Factor" in midseason.
During its upfront presentation, FOX also revealed its pickup for 2013. "Family Guy" and "The Cleveland Show" creator Seth MacFarlane has been prepping "The Flinstones", which will present a modern take on the Hanna-Barbera classic animated comedy, for the network. The production will begin in fall.
