Courteney Cox has re-ignited rumors that she and her "Cougar Town" co-star Josh Hopkins are more than just friends. The two TV stars were spotted enjoying some sand and surf at the beach on the tiny Caribbean island of St. Barts on Tuesday, March 29, but idea of the pair was there for a romantic getaway was quickly shot down.
Although the 46-year-old actress and her on-screen lover were in the tropical island for a vacation, their representative denied there are romance involved. The rep stressed, "The relationship is strictly platonic and they are away with a group of friends on vacation." An inside source added, "Courteney and Josh are great friends. There's definitely nothing going on there."
Courteney and Josh were on the tropical island to enjoy some down time after wrapping the shooting of their hit series. Courteney looked relaxed and happy flaunting her toned body in a tiny black and white bikini, while 40-year-old Josh sported a pair of flower-patterned dark blue board shorts. Joining them was Coco, Courteney's 6-year-old daughter with estranged husband David Arquette.
Courtney has announced her separation from husband of 11 years, David, in October 2010. At a recent junket for "Scream 4", the actress seemed to be warming up to him. Talking about his post-rehab appearance, she told Extra, "Oh my God, I'm so proud of him. Best he's ever looked. He's so cute!" An eyewitness even claimed that the estranged spouses were holding hands after the junket.
