New pictures from "Captain America: The First Avenger" have come out in the latest issue of Empire magazine which features the superhero on its cover page. Inside the magazine, there are pictures of Chris Evans' Steve Rogers getting shirty with Richard Armitage's Heinz Kruger, and his alter ego Captain America sporting a torn lip.
Other images additionally feature Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter, Private Lorraine's Natalie Dormer and give first look at Tommy Lee Jones as Col. Chester Phillips. Meanwhile, the first look at Captain America's sidekick Bucky Barnes, portrayed by Sebastian Stan, has been unraveled a day before via Los Angeles Times.
"Captain America: The First Avenger" will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when military service washout Steve Rogers volunteers for a top secret research project that turns him into Captain America and tries to fit in his new image. Joe Johnston directs it and Paramount Pictures will distribute it in U.S. cinemas on July 22.
A new poster for the action movie is said to be released on February 4 and a TV spot will be aired during Super Bowl XLV telecast on Fox this Sunday.
